The Babbit Floor Lamp is an expression of pure geometry that is made of metal in a brushed brass finish and brass in a polished brass finish. One of the distinctive elements is the tailored tapering of the shaft, which was inspired by a Brancusi sculpture. By rethinking the smallest details, designer Barry Goralnick takes the gold lamp to a higher plane.
